RECORDING
For every occasion there is the chance to have that great balance between microphone placement, signal level and quality of sound to create the best sounding audio for any occasion. From ADR, to Foley, music recording, or even radio plays its all about capturing the most pristine audio possible.
MIXING
I feel like mixing is both art and science combined. One of my most favorite things is to sit down and just get lost in a mix, diving as deep as I can into the waveforms to pull out the best tones, and fix any problems that may have happened. Getting the audio to shine and blending tones and actions together is the most fun part of being an audio professional.
MASTERING
Mastering is, to me, all about blending sounds together that have already been mixed to give them the professional gleam to the same quality as anything that you'd hear on the radio. Adding those final touches is like a cook adding the right spices to their food to take it to the next level.
